The officers transferred were one IGP, 10 Deputy Inspectors General (DIGs) and 43 of the rank of SSP, SP, Assistant Inspector General (AIG).
Disclosing this here, a spokesperson of the Chief Minister's Office said that Punjab Chief Minister Parkash Singh Badal cleared the proposal mooted by the home department regarding the transfers/postings of these officers late this evening.
