56 students fell ill after lunch at school hostel

A total 56 students fell ill after having lunch at their hostel in Jawahar Navoday Vidyalaya at Banekuchi in Nalbari district today.
All the students had taken their lunch at the boys hostel of the residential school, official sources said.
Twelve seriously affected students have been shifted to Nalbari Swahid Mukunda Kakati Civil Hospital, the sources said, adding they were stated to be out of danger.
A team of doctors from Nalbari has rushed to the school to treat the students.
