seriously injured in a firing over an old dispute in Shikohabad area, police said here.
One Balroop and Shrinivas had a dispute on Holi day in Kataura village, but both the parties were pacified by the local residents, Shikohabad police station in charge Shri Prakash Yadav said.
He said that this morning while Balroop, Neelo, Santu, Fajju, Tannu and Suraj were working in the field Naresh, Shrinivas, Gulfaam and Dilasa reached the spot and fired indiscriminately.
Yadav said all the six persons sustained serious injuries and have been admitted to district hospital.
He said a named complaint has been lodged against six persons in this connection.
