6 killed in bus-car collision

Six young men were today killed when the car in which they were travelling collided with a state transport corporation-run bus near Dhaipi village here.
"Six people travelling in the car were killed when it collided with a PRTC bus this morning," Mansa SP Rakesh Kumar said, adding that some passengers of the bus also sustained minor injuries.
Police said the six victims, in the age group of 24-30 years, were working with a caterer and were returning after attending a wedding function overnight.
"We found utensils and other material used to prepare meals for large gathering from the car," another police officer said.

"The bus was found to be running in designated lane. It appears that the car driver fell asleep resulting in the tragedy," the area SHO said.
