An elderly person was shot dead due to old enmity in village Dherhana here, police said Tuesday.
Shivkumar Vishwakarma (60) was killed on Monday night by Suraj Singh when he was sitting near his tubewell, they said.
He was rushed to the hospital but died during treatment, they added.
An FIR was registered and the police have launched a hunt to nab the accused.
