60-yr-old tusker found dead near forest range

A sixty-year-old tusker was found dead at a village near Maldare forest range today, forest officials said.
Range Forest Officer Achappa said the elephant had died due of some disease. Its tusks were removed and kept in the department's custody, he said.
The pachyderm was cremated after an autopsy, he said.
