7 administrative officials transferred in Punjab

Punjab government today transferred seven administrative officials, including six of the IAS cadre, in the state with immediate effect.
Baldev Purushartha, Director, Technical Education and Industrial Training, has been given additional charge of Director, Mining, an official spokesman said here.
Gurdev Singh Ghuman has been posted as Joint Development Commissioner, Integrated Rural Development, in addition to the post of Special Secretary, Rural Development and Panchayats.
Alaknanda Dayal has been posted as Director, Social Security and Development of Women and Children, in addition to the post of Special Secretary, Social Security and Development of Women and Children.
Gurkirat Kirpal has been posted as MD, Markfed, while Dilraj Singh has been posted as Registrar, Co-operative Societies, and Vijay Namdeorao Zade has been designated Special Secretary, Housing and Urban Development, the spokesman said.

Meanwhile, Punjab Civil Services (PCS) official Major Amit, Sub Divisional Magistrate, Pathankot, would also hold the additional charge of Joint Commissioner, Pathankot, the spokesman said.
