7 arrested for illegal sand mining in UP

Seven persons have been arrested for illegal sand mining and six mud-loaded tractor trolleys were seized from their possession near Rohana village here.
Acting on a complaint by a local, police reached the spot and seized six tractor trolleys loaded with mud and one JCB machine yesterday, tehsildar Sadar, Rajni Kant said.
Seven persons have been arrested in this connection, the tehsildar added.
