"From January 1 till March 23, as many as 6,931 samples were tested, of which 2,177 found to be positive. The number of deaths because of swine flu and other complications stood at 75 as on date," a bulletin on swine flu issued by the state government said here today.
It said seven samples out of the 67 which were sent for analysis yesterday, tested positive for the H1N1 virus.
"The number of positive cases reported in the last six days (up to March 23) is 23, 8, 25, 32, 13, and 7," the bulletin said.
Sufficient stock of medicines and testing kits are available at hospitals in the state, the bulletin added.
