The seven, who have been arrested, had posed themselves as the academy's 'director' and faculty members.
They have been identified as Sandip Kumar (director) and 'faculty members' -- Kishor Prasad, Narayan Singh, Manish Biswas, Dibanshu Mitra, Yesheka Sarma and Priyanka Sarma.
They were detained on October 23 on charge of duping educated unemployed youths in the name of giving them admission and demanding a large sum of money for screening test at a local school, the official said.
The alleged fraud came to light when two of the candidates became suspicious about the screening test when they were again asked for money as they had already paid online for the exam process, he said, adding the two then filed a complaint at the Lichubari police outpost.
Police rushed to the said school on getting the complaint and detained the accused.
