7 held in advocate murder case

Seven persons have been arrested in connection with the murder of an advocate of the Madras High Court, police today said.
The accused arrested under various IPC sections, were remanded in judicial custody today, police said.
M K Raja, brother of PMK state vice-president, was returning home in a car after attending a temple function on the night of April 3 along with his friends when some persons intercepted the vehicle near Koil Sannpuram railway gate, attacked and murdered him.
The arrested were produced before the II Additional District Munsiff-cum-Judicial magistrate court which remanded them in judicial custody for fifteen days.
