7 killed, 40 injured in different mishaps

Seven persons, including three children, were killed and 40 others injured in different mishaps in Bihar's Nawada district today, a police officer said.
Three persons were killed and over 40 injured when a bus overturned near Hardiya locality under Rajauli police station area, the Deputy Superintendent of Police (DSP) Sarfur Ahmed said.
The three were identified as Binda Rajvanshi, Manoj Singh and Kundan Kumar, he said.
In another accident, an auto-rickshaw rammed into a stationary truck near Sukhnar village under Sirdala police station area killing two children, four year-old boy Kundan Kumar and his infant brother, on the spot, while their parents received injuries.
In two other similar incidents, an eight year-old boy Roshan Kumar was crushed to death by a four-wheeler near Akbarpur bazar under police station with the same name, while a youth, identified as Vikas Kumar Lala was run over by a train near Tilaiya railway station, Ahmed said.
