In a written reply to a question in Lok Sabha, Minister of State in the Information and Broadcasting ministry, Rajyavardhan Singh Rathore, said that Prasar Bharati has informed that a total of seven complaints of sexual harassment were made in the last three years.
"They further informed that of these, three have been closed with suitable action whereas the other four cases are at different stages," Rathore said.
In his reply to another question, pertaining to a gaffe by a DD News staffer, Rathore said that while reporting on floods in Srinagar, the correspondent had in her live dispatches used the term Suleiman Hill and Islamabad to refer to Shankaracharya Hill and Anantnag.
"Prasar Bharati has informed that action has been taken on the findings of the inquiry report to improve its working," he added.
