7 superintendent engineers posts on deputation approved

In a move to expedite housing for police personnel, Maharashtra government today approved filling of seven posts for Superintendent Engineers on deputation to the State Police Housing and Welfare Corporation.
The decision was taken in the weekly cabinet meeting chaired by Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis here.
"In order to ensure housing for police personnel, the corporation has been granted permission to fill seven superintendent engineers posts on deputation," an official in the CMO said.
In another decision, cabinet approved implementation of revised pay package as per Sixth Pay Commission to teaching and non-teaching staff of D B Deopdhar Krida Probodhini's College affiliated to the Shivchatrapati Sports University at Balewadi, Pune.

Police Housing and Welfare Corporation has been given the task of making available one lakh houses for police personnel in the state, an official said.
The Corporation will work for residential complexes of 50 or more houses and administrative buildings of more than 500 sq.Mt.
Police housing has been given 4 FSI and the projects will be set up through PPP model.
The Cabinet was also informed that the state reservoirs storage was 83 per cent. The storage had doubled compared to last year. This year the average rainfall.Was 95.8 per cent as compared to 60 per cent last year.
Marathwada reservoirs were 77.25 per cent full as compared to 5.53 per cent.
The reservoirs in Konkan were 93.22 per cent full as compared to 55.47 per cent, in Nagpur they were 66.97 per cent full as compared to 43.99 per cent last year.
In Amravati the reservoirs were 76.26 per cent full as compared to 49.64 per cent, in Nashik 88.17 per cent as compared to 46.58 per cent.
In Pune reservoirs were 88.89 per cent full as compared to 53 per cent. 20 districts have received more than 100 per cent rainfall, the Cabinet was informed.
