"We have arrested Chambo Fatma Basil under NDPS Act who was carrying 74 kgs of the contraband worth about Rs 7.4 crores," Additional Commissioner of Customs Milind Lanjewar said.
Basil was departing to Dar es Salaam via Qatar Airways when she was apprehended.
"She was intercepted on the basis of specific intelligence and checking of her bags lead to the recovery of white crystalline powder suspected to be methaqualone," Lanjewar said.
