department has seized 82 gm of heroin from different places in the capital town and nearby Rangvamual since Tuesday.
An official statement today said 38 grams of heroin was seized from Tuikual locality in Aizawl and a 62-year-old Myanmarese was arrested in connection with it.
A youth hailing from Mizoram-Myanmar border was arrested with 13.5 grams of the contraband from Chanmari West here last night.
The officials raided two places in Rangvamual near here and seized 30.5 grams of heroin. Two youths were arrested in connection with the haul, the statement said.
All the four accused were booked under relevant sections of Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic Substances Act, 1985, it added.
