82 kg poppy siezed, two arrested in J-K

Two persons were today arrested after 82 kgs of poppy was seized from their possession at Jammu-Srinagar highway in Udhampur district, police said.
A truck was intercepted during checking after which 82 kg of poppy was seized, they said.
The accused have been identified as Manjeet Singh and Sukhjeet Singh, both residents of Chandoli in Hoshiarpur, Punjab. They were headed to Punjab from the Valley, police said.
The duo have been arrested and a case has been registered against them.
