The two-day festival, that begins on February 19, will see India's youngest celebrity chef Saransh Goila along with food artiste Smita Srivastava and food writer Simi Srivastava, demonstrating culinary recipes to children, as well as discussing relevant food and lifestyle related issues with the parents.
"Through the event we hope to raise awareness about some relevant concerns around food today, such as lifestyle diseases, proper hygiene, waste segregation and much more," says the organiser of the festival.
At the interactive zone, "Science and Cooking" children will be educated about the gastronomic cycles and the relationship between science and cooking.
"Children have always been fascinated by both science and cooking. We want to educate them the basic difference between two different types food while showing them the science involved in it," says the organiser.
To keep the young ones interested, the festival will also make their favourite characters from 'Jungle Book' - Mowgli, Bagheera and Baloo - come alive, promising to make food "fun" for them.
The festival that will be hosted at the Nehru Park here, will come to a close on February 19.
