Due to the "co-operation of the electors and the quality work of Electoral Officers, out of the total 5.62 crore electors in Tamil Nadu, so far details of Aadhaar of 2.64 crore electors have been successfully seeded in the electoral database," he said in an official release here.
Stating that one more opportunity is now available for voters who have not submitted their Aadhar information to link it with the electoral rolls, he said booth level officers would visit such voters soon.
"By linking the Aadhaar Number, many facilities would be rolled out for the benefit of the electors relating to maintenance of their entries in the Electoral rolls," he added.
