AAP a blot on face of Delhi, says BJP

Hitting back at Arvind Kejriwal over his "goon" remark, BJP today said the Delhi Chief Minister is "infamous" for making such comments and his party is a "blot" on the face of Delhi.
"People of Delhi know who the goon is. Arvind Kejriwal who always looks for excuses not to work is known for abusing rivals. He is the champion of lies. Kejriwal who always runs away by giving some excuse, should concentrate and work on the problems faced by people in Delhi.
"He should not defy the constitution. He should stop bad mouthing Prime Minister Narendra Modi. Kejriwal's party is like a blot on the face of Delhi. Through his constant abuses, he always insults the people of Delhi," BJP national secretary Srikant Sharma said.

Without taking names of any political party and making direct reference to anyone, the Delhi Chief Minister said the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) will continue to fight for full statehood by going to any extent as "goons in the high echelons" of the government hinder the work of Delhi.

Accusing Kejriwal and his government of being "missing" from action in Delhi, Patra said while he is campaigning in Punjab after visiting Vatican, his deputy chief minister Manish Sisodia is in Finland, Gopal Rai in Chhatisgarh and Health Minister Satyendra Jain is in Goa to campaign for AAP.

"On whose money you went to Vatican. On whose money your ministers are going to Finland or elsewhere in the world and country? Delhi public's money is being used for your personal campaign," he said.

He also told Kejriwal to mind his language when the media, Opposition and ordinary Delhi public asks questions to the AAP chief minister.
"Arvind Kejriwal has no control over his work or his language. It is but natural that you should not be frustrated, you should use proper language and you should democratically answer the questions rather than calling them dalals and agents.
"I want to pose a question to Kejriwal, if he is listening to me in Punjab. If you don't want to answer any question, then why this paraphernalia. Kejriwal rather than behaving as a troll on Twitter should try to fulfil his role as a chief minister," he said.

Patra alleged that the entire Chief Minister's Office has shifted to Twitter and is seen functioning there only and not on the ground.
"A sincere advice to Kejriwal is, you should cease to function as a troll on Twitter. Please keep up the role of the Chief Minister. That is what the people of Delhi want," he said, adding that he is pained at seeing that one who is into Vipasana uses such kind of language.
The BJP leader said that it is for the first time one has seen that a democratically-elected chief minister is refusing to be questioned for Delhi even when he enjoys all benefits using public money to campaign for himself and his party.

He also said that High Court has said whatever law he makes it should be routed through the LG as per the Constitution. "But you are making fun of it. Today when people are gripped with disease and people are losing lives, you are giving such a statement. This is a serious issue.
