Leader of BJP Legislature Party Vijender Gupta today accused the AAP government of "giving bogus order" and claimed that JJ clusters were still being demolished and contractual workers removed.
Speaking on Lt Governor Najeeb Jung's address to the first session of sixth Delhi Legislative Assembly, Gupta said that there was no time-bound commitment to schemes to improve infrastructure of the education sector.
"The government is giving bogus orders. JJ clusters are still being demolished and contractual workers are still being removed.
"The Lt Governor's address does not have any mention of inflation. There is no planned way of executing the heath schemes. There is no scheme for elderly citizens, hawkers. Also, there is no time-bound commitment on how the government will build the infrastructure for health," Gupta said.
Gupta also alleged that Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal had summoned the VAT commissioner and asked him to increase the revenue. This will ultimately result in traders getting harassed as raids will increase.
Taking objection to the figures mentioned by Gupta on the tax hike, Speaker Ram Niwas Goel asked the assembly staff not to include the figure in remarks as the claim was made without any "evidence".
The BJP leader was also warned by the Speaker several times for interrupting when Kejriwal was giving his concluding remarks.
