staged a dharna in the office premises of the Deputy Commissioner of East Singhbhum district here after its activists were allegedly beaten up by BJP workers.
Local AAP leaders alleged they had been beaten up by the supporters of BJP MP Bidyut Baran Mahato when they were holding a demonstration in front of his house demanding resignations of two union ministers, Rajasthan Chief Minister Basundhara Raje and Maharashtra Minister Pankaja Munde for the recent controversis surrounding them.
Mahato, however, said the protestors used unparliamentary words in front of his house and local residents chased them away.
The officer-in-charge of Bistupur Police station Jitendra Kumar denied the beating up incident.
