AAP releases first list of nine candidates for LS polls in AP

The Aam Admi Party (AAP) today announced its first list of candidates, including a former bureaucrat, for nine Lok Sabha constituencies in Andhra Pradesh.
The candidates are: Repelle Srinivas (Nizamabad), Chandana Chakravarti (Malkajgiri), Chinta Swamy (Warangal-SC), Chaya Ratan (Secunderabad), R Venkata Reddy (Chevella), KVB Veera Vara Prasad (Guntur), Jaidev Injarapu (Srikakulam), EDA Chennaiah (Bapatla-SC), CSN Raja Yadav (Ongole).
Chaya Ratan is a retired 1977-batch IAS officer, while Chakravarti is a noted social activist from city and a former leader of Lok Satta, AAP noted in a release.
Vara Prasad retired as Squadron Leader from IAF in 2010, it added.
