AAP Punjab convener Gurpreet Singh Ghuggi claimed that first of all Congress would not be voted to power and secondly Captain Amarinder has a track record of shielding drug smugglers which are present in his party in large numbers.
Holding Captain Amarinder "responsible" for starting drug trade, he reminded the PPC President his opposition to CBI probe against Revenue Minister in SAD-BJP Government Bikram Singh Majithia, who was named kingpin of drug trade by former cop turned drug lord Jagdish Bhola.
He said that Congress and Akali leaders were hand in glove to run the multi-crore drug racket in Punjab, adding that what was conceived by Captain Amarinder was later commercialised by SAD-BJP government.
He said that people of Punjab had no faith in false commitments of Captain Amarinder who is an "extended arm" of corrupt and inept regime like SAD-BJP alliance.
