The party will also focus on two aspects during the door to door campaign.
First, the party will try to hardsell the achievements and the promises it made and fulfuilled during its 49-day rule. Second, it will try to convince people that Prime Minister Modi, on whose popularity the BJP is banking on, wont be a solution to its city-level problems.
It has also come up with a slogan, 'Delhi ka badlenge haal. Panch saal Kejriwal' (Arvind Kejriwal government will work for five years this time to improve the bad condition of Delhi).
"The booth level workers will focus on 25 houses. They will explain the achievements of Kejriwal's 49-day government. The booth level workers will also explain the fulfilled promises made by Kejriwal, like slashing the tariff of electricity and water and then comparing it with five-month rule of the Centre in the national capital " said senior party leader Sanjay Singh.
After its rout in the Lok Sabha election, in which the party targeted Prime Minister Narendra Modi, its strategy misfired. Riding high on the Modi wave, the saffron party also won assembly elections in Haryana and Maharashtra.
The party now wants to make it a localised campaign and pitch Kejriwal against BJP leaders.
"The BJP may not declare its chief ministerial candidate, but we will project it as a campaign between the probable candidates like Jagdish Mukhi, Vijender Gupta, others and Kejriwal.
