"Aam Aadmi Party welcomes the step taken by the Delhi Government as per the request sent by the Delhi Sikh Gurudwara Prabandak Committee member. It is a step considerate with the sentiment of the people of the Delhi," the party's media cell said in its statement.
The party also appreciated the decision of the government declaring December 16 as a dry day.
"It is also appreciative of the Government of NCT of Delhi to have declared the day as a dry day. People of Delhi and party commend Delhi government for this welcome step," the release said.
