Aashish Kapoor likely to apply for selector's post

Former India off-spinner Aashish Kapoor is likely to be one of the candidates who will be applying for the post of national selector.
The BCCI has invited applications for the post of senior and junior selector.
"Yes Aashish is likely to apply for the job. He has right credentials and has a vast knowledge of domestic talent having worked with IPL team Delhi Dealerships and now with various India A sides," a source told PTI today.
Aashish is 45-year-old and has played 4 Tests and 19 ODIs for India in mid 90s apart from 128 first-class matches. He has represented Punjab and Tamil Nadu in Ranji Trophy. There aren't more than 50 retired Indian cricketers who fits all of BCCI's criteria for senior selection.
