Aban Offshore logs net loss at Rs 89 cr in Dec quarter

Offshore drilling contractor Aban Offshore today reported a net loss of Rs 88.7 crore for the quarter ended December weighed down by lower income.
The company had reported a consolidated net profit of Rs 129.98 crore in the same quarter of the previous fiscal.
The total income of the company declined to Rs 737.44 crore in the quarter under review, from Rs 1,016.45 crore in the same period last fiscal.
Aban Offshore shares today closed 0.11 per cent down at Rs 190.15 apiece on BSE.
