Abbott India Q3 net profit up 9% to Rs 70 cr

Drug firm Abbott India today reported a 9.03% rise in standalone net profit at Rs 70.36 crore for the third quarter ended December 31.

The company had posted a net profit of Rs 64.53 crore for the corresponding period of the previous fiscal, Abbott India said in a BSE filing.

The firm's standalone total income from operations rose to Rs 667.29 crore for the quarter under consideration as against Rs 573.72 crore for the year-ago period.

Abbott India shares today closed 1.70% up at Rs 5133.90 apiece on the BSE.
