Umang Chandrakant Tadvi was allegedly kidnapped on Tuesday by unidentified persons. He was today rescued from an unoccupied house located in his neighbourhood by his parents, they said.
"My son was missing since Tuesday and (we) had lodged a complaint with police. In the meantime, we heard his cries for help from the house today where he was kept in captivity," the boy's mother said.
Umang was found in unconscious condition after we broke open the door of the house, she said.
The house from where the teenager was rescued was unoccupied and the owner never came to stay there. It is not known how the boy reached there, police said, adding further investigations are on.
