The official B Narsingh Rao was caught red-handed by ACB officials while accepting Rs 10,000 as bribe at his residence, from a complainant, in order to delete his name from an excise case, an ACB release stated here.
The case is under investigation.
In another case, S Ravinder, serving as a senior assistant at the District Audit Office in Telangana state's Mahaboobnagar district was caught red-handed by the ACB while accepting the Rs 24,000 in his office, from a complainant, to process the pension of the complainant's mother.
