"The government should take into account the gravity of the situation, shun forming review committees and accept our five-point proposals and involve Kashmiris in the composite dialogue without waisting time," he told a religious function here.

He claimed that the appointment of interlocutors on Kashmir was an "attempt to hoodwink the international community on Kashmir".

He said the resolution of Kashmir in accordance to the wishes and aspirations of its people was a must for taking forward the composite dialogue between India and Pakistan and permanent peace and prosperity of the region.

The chairman of the moderate Hurriyat faction was reacting to Union Minister of State for Home Jitendra Singh's statement in Rajya Sabha yesterday that the government has not taken any decision on the interlocutors report on Jammu and Kashmir submitted last year and is not planning any mechanism to implement the recommendations.
