The girl, aged around 25 years, was arrested and taken to a magistrate for her remand and later to a hospital for medical checkup following which she was taken to Jharkhand by train on Tuesday.
The girl was seen tied at the railway station here by locals people and media that captured her photos and video.
"A team had come from Jharkhand to arrest the girl and took her into their custody. It came to light through a video that the girl was tied by a rope at the railway station.
"We have not received any complaint from the family of the girl but I have ordered the Kotwali police to probe the matter," he said.
The girl is named along with her brother in an FIR lodged in Jharkhand's Garhwa district by her sister-in-law under section 498 IPC.
