Accused who shot at UP journo arrested

The main accused who shot at and injured a journalist of a leading Hindi daily was arrested in Amethi district today, police sources said here.
Atul Singh had yesterday shot Dilip Kaushal, a reporter with Amar Ujala, and fled from the spot.
The incident had taken place in Jadgishpur area of Amethi.
The scribe was rushed to a community health centre in Amethi from where the doctors referred him to the trauma centre in Lucknow. He is stated to be out of danger.
The journalist suffered bullet injuries to his arm.
A group of Amethi-based reporters from different newspapers had submitted a memorandum to District Magistrate Yogesh Kumar for proper security of journalists.
