While one warden Chinmay Pradhan was suspended, another Mangulu Sethi was transferred yesterday on the grounds of negligence in duty, Senior Superintendent of the jail Raghunath Majhi said.
Around 17 packets of ganja, 80 packets of cigarette, six cellphones, three SIMs, around Rs 83,000 cash, 200 bidi packets, over 1200 gutkha pouches, two knives and several playing cards were seized from the jail on Monday, officials said.
A file containing news clippings on Chhota Rajan was also found in the jail, they said.
During preliminary investigation, police came to know that some hardcore criminals were operating a network from the jail, while some people received threats from the prison.
