Actors need to create new look, says Alia Bhatt

Bollywood actress Alia Bhatt says it is important for actors to have different kind of look for every film otherwise it becomes boring.
"Now a days there are characters for which one has to look (in a) certain way. For 'Udta Punjab' I had to lose weight and for 'Shaandaar' I had to have that bikini look... I had to look desirable as a lady. It is boring if you (actors) keep looking same way in all your (their) films," the 22-year-old actress told reporters here at an event.
"We as actors need to create new look and try and be different for every character that we play portray. We hope to achieve a fit look," the "Student of the Year" star said.

In her upcoming film "Shaandaar", filmed by Vikas Bahl, Alia will be donning a bikini on screen for the first time.
"Udta Punjab" is an upcoming film starring Shahid Kapoor, Kareena Kapoor, Alia Bhatt.
The "Highway" actress, would be sharing screen space with Bollywood superstar Shah Rukh Khan in Karan Johar's upcoming home production film.

When asked how thrilled is she to be working with SRK, Alia says, "We will talk about it later."
Alia was speaking at a book launch -- 'Sculpt and Shape: The Pilates Way', co-athored by Yasmin Karachiwala, a leading fitness professional and Zeena Dhalla.
Along with Alia, actresses Katrina Kaif and Sophie Chaudhary were also present on the occasion.

"Pilates helped me a lot. One can feel the change in inner strength, you walk and dance better. I follow what Yasmin (Karachiwala) says besides doing Pilates and workout it is also important to have right kind of nutrition, proper rest and staying happy. If we feel happy internally there will be positivity," she added.
