Any sort of indiscipline among party cadres will not be tolerated and shall be dealt with action against offenders, newly-elected state BJP chief Subhash Barala said here today.
Barala, MLA from the Tohana Assembly seat, was earlier in the day re-elected for the top party post in Haryana for a three years term.
Talking to reporters over reports of fighting among party members for post of district head, the state chief said action would be taken against those who are not disciplined and such actions will not be tolerated.
Stating that discipline is a priority in BJP, he sought report from all districts where the alleged incidents of fight occurred among party members, saying nobody will be allowed to tarnish the image of the party.
Asked about appointment on posts of chairman of Boards and Corporations in the state, he said decision will be taken at the right time and "dedicated and sincere" people will be given the responsibilities.
He added that decisions will not be taken in haste.
Expressing gratitude to central leadership of BJP for re-electing him as state president, Barala said he will work to join more people with the BJP and ensure senior party workers get the respect they deserve.
He said elections for BJP district head in eight district are left and they will be done after due consultations with party seniors as he assured contenders to be certain that transparency will be maintained in the process.
