Adani Transmission Q2 net stands at Rs 153 crore

Adani Group firm Adani Transmission Ltd (ATL) today reported consolidated net profit of Rs 152.90 crore for the quarter ended September 30.
The consolidated total income from operations during the quarter was Rs 564.24 crore, the company said.
"The company acquired its subsidiaries Adani Transmission (India) and Maharashtra Eastern Grid Power Transmission Company in March 2015. In view of the same, comparable consolidated previous period figures for the said quarter and the half year ended September 30, 2014 are not applicable," it said.
ATL said in a statement that the consolidated EBIDTA stood at Rs 585 crore and profit after tax (PAT) was Rs 153 crore for July-September quarter.
"As the largest private power transmission company in the country and the government thrust on huge investment in power transmission sector along with progressive policy initiatives, Adani Transmission is best poised to tap growth and create value for all its stakeholders," Adani Group Chairman Gautam Adani said.
ATL has over 5,000 circuit km of transmission lines across western and northern regions of India along with 12,000 MVA transformation capacity.
Maharashtra Eastern Grid Power Transmission and Adani Transmission (India) Ltd (ATIL) operate some of the power transmission assets like 765 kV transmission system of about 1,185 km from Tiroda to Aurangabad.
In a major recast of operations, Adani had earlier said that it has consolidated its ports, power and mining assets into three separately listed firms and would list a new company for transmission business, while unlocking value worth over Rs 60,000 crore.
In a separate filing, ATL said the board of directors has approved the appointment of Kaushal G Shah as CFO with effect from today in place of Rajiv Kumar Rustagi.
