The bench was inaugurated today at the Forum building at Mannagudda here by its chairman C V Shobha.
District Bar association president S P Chengappa and Forum members Lavanya and Rajashekhar were present.
Addressing reporters, Shobha said the state Consumer Disputes Redressal Forum had instructed theadditional bench to settle all the 318 pending cases between 2012 and 2014.
The remaining 403 cases before the Forum would be heard by Shobha and member Lavanya Rai.
The additional bench would be headed by Vishweshwara Bhat and member T C Rajashekar.
