The Brit Awards has pulled off a major coup by landing Adele to perform at the 2016 awards ceremony.
The singer has cemented her position as the biggest pop star in the world in the last couple of months, with her long-awaited third album 25 smashing pretty much every chart record going since its release on November 20th.
In both the US and the UK, it notched up the highest first-week sales of all time (3.38 million and 800,000 respectively), while it also became the most downloaded chart topping album ever. With a performance at the Brits and, doubtless, a handful of nominations to come, it wouldn't be at all surprising to see the 27 year old singer add to her tally of four awards.
