Not very far behind, the other Indian team of Shubham Narain and Ridhima Dilawari who were tied 12th at the end of Day 1, slipped to tied 18th along with Hong Kong at the Par-72 Sunrise Golf & country club, Taiwan.
Playing in arguably the most difficult format of golf called foursome, Bengaluru's 17-year-old Aditi and Chandigarh's 16-year-old Karandeep submitted a score of seven -over 79 for a two-day total of seven-over 151 for a tied 16th along with host nation Chinese Taipei.
Arun Kumar Singh, Director General, IGU who is accompanying the teams said, "Today's format of alternate shots suits us because our players gel with each other well. Ridhima and Aditi command respect from their co-players. Ridhima was a bit off colour today near the greens, which cost them strokes. Karan is young and needs more experience on a long course and undulating greens like these."
