Aditi Ashok will be one of the 68 players from 23 countries to tee off in the 36-hole Evian Championship Qualifier -- Europe -- at Evian Resort Golf Club.
The Evian Championship, the fifth and final women's Major of 2016, will be played on the same course from September 15-18.
Aditi missed out in the recent qualifier for one of the five spots for the US Open, but is looking forward to grabbing one of the two places available for Evian Championship.
Currently 39th on the LET Order of Merit, Aditi had a career-best of tied 8 in an LET event at home -- Hero Women's Indian Open in 2012 -- when she was still an amateur.
There will be three qualifying competitions globally this year and those who are successful in Europe will be joined by a player from Korea and two from the United States.
The European qualifier field includes eight players who appear in the top 60 of the current Women's Olympic Golf Ranking.
The 2015 Ladies European Tour Players' Player of the Year Nicole Broch Larsen and Nanna Koerstz Madsen of Denmark are joined by Marianne Skarpnord of Norway, Noora Tamminen from Finland, Maria Verchenova of Russia, Anne Van Dam from the Netherlands, Fabienne In-Albon of Switzerland and Indian LET rookie professional Aditi Ashok.
Three players who have already qualified for the US Women's Open at the Buckinghamshire last week are Pamela Pretswell of Scotland, Camilla Lennarth of Sweden (main picture above) and Frenchwoman Valentine Derrey.
Last year, the eventual Rookie of the Year Emily Kristine Pedersen from Denmark and Klara Spilkova of the Czech Republic were the two players who qualified and they finished tied for 25th and 55nd respectively in the Major event.
