Aditya, Rituparna move into Jr Natl Badminton final

Holder Aditya Joshi of Air India in boys U-19 and Rituparna Das Of Telengana in girls U-19 sailed into the finals of the 39th Junior National Badminton Championship at the Patliputra Sports Complex here today.
Siril Varma and Chirag Sen and Vrushali G and Shriyanshi Pardeshi moved into the U-17 boys and girls finals respectively.
Aditya Joshi (AI) defeated Koushik M (AI) 21-18, 21-13 and Harshil Dhani (AI) beat Chirag Sen 21-18, 21-16 in the U-19 boys semi-finals here today.
Ruthvika Shavani pipped team-mate G Vrushali 21-16, 21-13 while Rituparna Das beat Sri Krishna Priya 21-9, 21-10.
In the Boys (U-17) semi-final, Siril Varma of Telengana defeated M Kanishq of Air India 21-10, 21-14 while in second semi-final Chirag Sen of Air India was lucky to move into final when Lakshya Sen of Uttarakhand retired hurt in the first set at 11-7.
G Vrushali of Telengana and Shriyanshi Pardeshi of Air India defeated Shikha Gautam of Karnataka and Kanika Kanwal of Delhi 21-15, 21-18 and 21-9, 21-14 respectively in the girls (U-17) semi-final matches today.
Saurabh Sharma (HAR) and D Pooja (AP) will clash with Chirag Shetty (MAH) and K P Sruthi (KER) in U-19 mixed doubles final.
Ashwini Bhat and U K Mithula of Karnataka will face Bhavya Rishi and Praanjal Taneja of Delhi in U-17 girls doubles final.
Krishna Prasad and Satwik Sai Raj of Andhra Pradesh will clash with Arintap Dasgupta (AI) and Kaustubh Rawat (DLI) in U-17 boys doubles final.
