The 31-year-old 'Friday Night Lights' actress is going to guest star as super spy Bobbi Morse, whose introduction to the series was previously teased at Comic-Con 2014, according to The Hollywood Reporter.
Palicki will appear in the fifth episode of the Marvel procedural with the potential to return.
The actress, who previously played Wonder Woman in a failed TV pilot and Nadia in The WB pilot 'Aquaman', recently secured a recurring role in the 'About a Boy' series.
Other actors that have been announced for the second season of 'Agents of SHIELD' include Kyle MacLachlan, Lucy Lawless, Simon Kassianides and Nick Blood.
