Tech firm Aeris Communications today announced the launch of an exclusive Internet of Things (IoT)-based solution developed for the social/not for profit sector.

The launch customer for this solution is Germany's Welthungerhilfe, which is working on water conservation in India, it added.
"IoT will be able live up to its potential only if it moves closer to mass adoption... This will not just help social enterprises but also the beneficiaries they work with," Aeris India President Rishi Bhatnagar said.
