The birth anniversary of Ramachandran, popularly known as MGR, falls on January 17 and it will be celebrated for two more days, AIADMK General Secretary and Chief Minister Jayalalithaa said.
Celebrations include public meetings and cultural events till January 19 and legislators would deliver special talks at such gatherings.
It would be held across Tamil Nadu and also in other states, including Andhra Pradesh, Karnataka and Kerala, where AIADMK has organisational presence, Jayalalithaa said in a party release.
