When Chief Minister Jayalalithaa arrived in the House, she was given a rousing welcome by her party members, including ministers, who stood up and thumped desks continuously.
However, soon after she arrived, no DMK member could be seen in their benches as they went out in batches.
Hailing the "stable governance and sustained growth," of the AIADMK regime, the state government had also given advertisements in newspapers on its welfare schemes and other initiatives.
Breaking a decades-old jinx, AIADMK won a successive term in the May 16 assembly elections and Jayalalithaa was sworn in for the sixth time as the Chief Minister on May 23.
Ministers in their addresses mentioned the AIADMK's 100 days in office and its achievements and welfare schemes steered by Jayalalithaa.
