AICC to hold consultation with Congress legislators on May 28

A two-member delegation of AICC will hold talks with the newly elected legislators of the Congress here on May 28 to elect the legilature party leader.
Puducherry PCC president A Namassivayam said former Delhi Chief Minister Sheila Dixit and party's general secretary Mukul Wasnik would hold cconsultations with the newly elected members.
Congress bagged 15 seats out of 21 it contested while its alliance partner DMK won in two seats out of the nine in the 30-member assembly.
Senior party leaders including former Union minister V Narayanasamy were camping in Delhi to finalise a decision on the CLP leader. They had held talks with the party President Sonia Gandhi and Vice-President Rahul Gandhi, party sources said.
