The two doctors from Medanta hospital, who suffered severe burn injuries in an air ambulance mishap in Bangkok, are in ICU at a hospital in the Thai capital.
The nurse, who was accompanying the doctors, sustained minor injuries and is stable, Medanta hospital sources said.
Medanta Chairman Dr Naresh Trehan is travelling to Bangkok while a team of doctors from the hospital has already reached the city to assist with the treatment and evacuation of the injured staff.
According to official sources, the family members of the injured have also reached Bangkok.
"The Chairman of Medanta, Dr Naresh Trehan, is travelling to Bangkok to personally oversee the treatment and ensure the best possible care is provided to the doctors, staff and crew affected by this terrible tragedy," Medanta said in a statement.
Trehan termed the incident as "unfortunate". "At this moment our thoughts and prayers go out to those affected and to their families and we ask that you all pray for their speedy recovery," he said.
Another senior doctor of the hospital said that the two doctors are seriously injured and are admitted in intensive care unit.
The plane took off from New Delhi for Bangkok on March 5 en-route to Bangkok and took a refuelling stop at Kolkata in the afternoon. Later, it crash landed at Nakhon Pathom airport.
The plane was carrying two doctors and a nurse, apart from the pilot who was killed in the incident.
One of the doctors was from the hospital's Department of Anaesthesia while the other from the Department of Critical Care.
The team was on its way to ferry a patient, who was to be shifted to Medanta for treatment.
"We are grateful for the support that has been extended by the Ministry of External Affairs, Government of India and the various Thai Government authorities as well as the doctors and nurses at the hospital currently treating the injured." the statement added.
