Air Lanka flight develops technical snag; 122 passengers safe

An Air Lanka flight from Colombo developed a technical snag while landing at the international airport here, but the pilot brought it down safely with no harm to the 122 passengers on board, airport sources said.
The aircraft landed here around 9.30 AM, they said.
As many as 244 passengers, who were to board the flight on its return journey to Colombo were put up in hotels in Chennai since the snag was not rectified before the scheduled departure time of 12.30 PM, the sources said.
